My progress this week was sort of sad. Due to a variety of factors, I only really stitched for one night. I finished off the stem stitch for the flowers in the middle, as well as did the beginning of the stem stitch in the brown colour. I also did more french knots! As I practice them, I find that varying the number of times I wrap the thread around the needle is nice for creating texture in the flower. It lets me create smaller and larger knots. I’ve also gotten a bit more efficient at it, I think.

I’m really looking forward to doing more of the kits I have, and this one in particular I think is really gorgeous.
