My progress for this week! I did quite a bit more than I expected, honestly, but I am getting so close to being finished this one.

I was unsure about learning any new stitches, and the two flowers that are still not done all have three new stitches for me to learn and put into practice. So instead of tackling them, I went with what you see here.

The white daisies were quite nice to do, and I think my stem stitch on them looks a little bit better than it had. My satin stitch on the petals, though, is much less neat and I think it’s more because of the smaller size of the petals and them being less uniform. Again, though, a very satisfying experience to sit down and have a visually appealing sort of progress marker to look at. Next week, I plan on finishing the French knots on the cream coloured flower and learning the long and short stitch for the petalled flower.
